Music Box Residence by Scott Edwards Architecture is house designed for a musical family that needed special space and acoustics to practice their instruments without disturbing others. To serve this, on the lowest level there is a rehearsal room surrounded by concrete walls while the main level sits the piano studio and living room. The upper level houses the bedrooms and guests, continue up and you end up to the rooftop deck offering great views over the forest park and city.
The warm wood balances beautifully with the black framing and staircase while white walls give the contemporary twist for the decor. The nature around becomes also a great part of the interiors, bursting its greens into the rooms.
