Picks from the Housing Fair Finland

The annual Housing Fair in Finland took place this year in the city of Seinäjoki. The event showcases the ongoing and future trends in housing industry, including architecture, materials, interior design and furnishing. Here are some interesting examples which quite nicely represent the common looks of the scene in Finland in 2016.

The presence of wood and light color themes are well-known from the Scandinavian style of decor and this year was no exception. Graphical details, carefully chosen decor elements are the things that after all define your personality. Also the warmth of natural materials in furnishing can widely be seen in these photos.

The textures of natural materials and the in flowing light creates the base for the light Scandinavian style.

Graphical detailing in the wall associates the modern black and white kitchen design with the Finnish nature.

This kitchen corner highlights from many parts the common Scandinavian design, familiar from the Finnish, Swedish and Danish magazines.

Lighting fixtures play also a big role in the decor. They are not just the source of light but valuable and strong elements among the decor.
