Located in Helsinki, this compact 49 square meters sized two room apartment experienced a total makeover and was turned into a cozy loft like studio apartment, designed by Aleksi Heiskanen from A&A Design. The aim was to create comfortable open space for friend gatherings and to respect the original architecture and atmosphere of the apartment. The double curtain divides the bed from the open kitchen/living room area to maximize the available floor space. The original wooden floor got a glossy white paint while the brick wall and raw wood floor emerge the past decades, same time adding a unique look and feel for this beautiful studio apartment.
